Snow Day????

This is what winter looks like in Nashville, TN. It snowed like a fury all day. The only problem was that the next minute the sun came out & it went away. Off and on all day. I was crossing my fingers-I love snow and want just one good one before winter is over. This was supposed to have been a "snow event" as the weatherwoman said. I'm sure folks in the north country are sick of snow, but I guess we're never happy with our weather or our lives for that matter. ha

Truth be told, I was glad to just stay home today and lay low. I guess this is as good a time as ever to open up and say that I have rheumatoid arthritis. Some days are better than others. Last night I was in alot of pain and didn't sleep well, so I was kinda out of it today. I have a great doctor and try very hard to keep a good outlook and do all that I'm able. I am blessed to be able to stay home which makes it easier for me to cope and also have the best husband in the world. I am fortunate to have a pretty upbeat attitude and really believe everything happens for a reason. Your prayers and thoughts would be appreciated from time to time. Meanwhile I will continue to create and let you see it! As the TV commercial goes, I am NOT my disease!

Is this too much information? Didn't mean to burden ya'll. Nerm

Hey, girlie. I was set to be all funny and snarky, but then I read your latest post and I didn't want to seem disrespectful. You have my prayers, definitely. Thanks for your comments again, and, oh, guess what? You've just been tagged! Go to my blog for the rules!

Oh, Nerm, I will pray for you. Wish I could give you a big hug! It was not too much information, look at all those extra prayers you will get and the graces those people praying for you will get for praying!

If I were close enough, I'd make you a smoothie on that fancy smoothie machine you have! :)

I sure love you nerm! I hate that some days are so hard on you. I pray for you all the time and sure hope that your Dr. can find something that works to make you feel better. It is time for you to post some pictures of YOU and/or Kitty maybe together. But I cant find any pictures of you on here. love you and hope we can see each other this weekend.

Sorry to hear about your RA. Have an old friend who has it too. She manages it with meds and doing a lot of exercise. I know a bit of what you may be going through,as I have hip dysplaysia that was never corrected and have arthritis in that hip joint. I was having a lot of back issues too. Then I found water aerobics. It has helped a lot. don't know if you live by a YMCA but they usually have arthritis water exercise classes.
Again sorry to hear that you have that, I know it must be painful!!
