Hello there, you sweet fellow bloggers, you! Here I am actually sitting at the computer and typing. It has been a long haul to get to this point, but I just had to let you all know how much your wonderful comments and emails have meant to me. They are such an encouragement. Thank you and kisses to you all!

I am on the road to recovery, but it will be slow. The doctors say about 4 more weeks until the pneumonia is gone! Egads! Don't they know this is the busiest time of the year? I have a gazillion projects to do for Christmas and shopping and parties to plan and Thanksgiving, etc. etc.

I was scraping wallpaper in preparation for redecorating the family room. Now I sit and look at the messy walls. Let's just say I sure am catching up on my reading and knitting! Perhaps I am being taught patience, but I thought having raised three girls that I was very, very patient. ha, ha As they say, "The Lord works in mysterious ways."

So I will try to keep my sense of humor and do what I can without getting out of breath. I know that I can resume the wonderful world of blogging again. Don't know if I'll have many pictures to share for a while, but we'll see what develops.

Meanwhile, enjoy this great fall weather and the beautiful leaves! My favorite time of the year. Luv, Nerm
